Dr. Bridget Turner Training Academy
PROGRAM GOALS:
Dr. Bridget Turner Training Academy: Dr. Bridget Turner offers CDA courses which introduce paraprofessionals in early childhood education to the Child Development Associate (CDA) credentialing process and provides comprehensive instruction in early childhood education.
All six competency standards and the thirteen functional areas are discussed. In the course students will begin to develop a professional resource file. Students who enroll in the course must have (within the past five years) at least 480 hours of experience working with children from infancy through five years old in a group setting.
Dr. Bridget Turner Training Academy
History:
Established in 2009. Started training community based early childhood education center's staff, parent's and administration. Currently training, mentoring, coaching, educating and providing early childhood education services to the same population as above and in addition on college/university campuses educating professionals and paraprofessionals as well as future teachers and teacher assistants on the Child Development Associate Credential and Early Childhood Education.
